manis are not pedi

don't you wish you went to a nail place like this one? it's designed by michael habachy and is in hotlanta, as is most of his work. if you like this, check out the shoe bar he designed.

this picture is a very visual reminder that manicures and other forms of self-pampering are a privilege, and they should feel like it. too often, nail salons rush you through the door, through picking a color, and through the whole experience. i love my nail place, but i have to say, it's become less of a pleasure as it's gotten busier.

i'm thinking of trying out dashing diva. thoughts, anyone? love their whole idea. maybe they'll actually let me soak for a minute while getting a pedi, maybe even two.
