OMG how much do i love the idea of apres-pool lounging on a chaise with a terrycloth cushion cover? so cozy! and so much less annoying than trying to make your towel function that way.the one above is west elm (love!) and the one below is from pottery barn (this one kind of bores me).
the only problem is that neither are universally-sized - they'll only fit on the specific lounge chairs from west elm and pb, which are not standard sizes. but i'm not going to leave you high and dry...i found us this one which is much less expensive and doubles as a beach tote! granted, it's not as perfect and tailored looking, but it would do the job quite nicely and i can assure you the 80's look is optional.
