i really love this house in october's issue of dwell - i like how it's very modern but also completely grounded in its natural surroundings. as soon as i laid eyes on it, i pictured sparkling bon vivant parties on the other side of that grand, gorgeous glass wall. if you look closely, you can see how the opposite wall is topped by a large expanse of windows as well, effectively flooding the room with light. no wonder it looks like it's glowing.

another home i've seen and loved recently is this one - it's a little more traditional as far as the lines of the house itself, but also uses lots of glass and is settled beautifully into its surroundings.

i love how both of these houses feel a little like treehouses, and would definitely each look amazing in all seasons.
they just feel like home to me.
